| Day 2 Kaili-50km-Leishan-Kaili | |
After breakfast, drive 1 hour on the county road to Leishan county, center of the Miao culture in South-east Guizhou. Trekking tour (around 1 hour) to the Miao village. Spend the afternoon in the Miao village, drive back to Kaili in the afternoon. |

Miao Village, home to over 1,000 residents living in more than 400 households, lies on the southern border of Southwest China's Guizhou Province, and is tinted with its time-honored Miao traditions and a strong local flavor. Though situated by State Highway 321, the Miao villagers here have maintained the characteristic lifestyle of the Miao ethnic group, still retaining the living customs and dressing code of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. |

| Day 3 Kaili-80km-Shidong-Kaili | |
Drive through the beautiful countryside with its terraced hillsides and quaint towns on our way to Shidong, Taijiang county. In the afternoon, return Kaili. |

Shidong, Taijiang county, center of the Long Miao culture in South-Eastern Guizhou. Shidong is a very small town in Taijiang county. The villagers will be waiting in their boats on the river to take us to their homes. It is very famous for its silver ornaments-making. |

| Day 4 Kaili-20km-Matang-210km-Guiyang | |
After breakfast, drive 40 minutes to Matang. To experience Gejia village style. Free walk and sightseeing from Matang to Huzhuang. Drive back to Guiyang for about 2 hours in the afternoon and check in the hotel. |

Matang Village, located roughly 18 kilometers north of the city of Kaili, is a Gejia ethnic minority village. Officially the Gejia (alternatively, Ge Jia) are classified as a subgroup of the Miao ethnic minority, but this is a classification that the Gejia resent, claiming instead that they are a unique ethnic minority in their own right, with their own unique language and social customs, including their own unique dress (the Gejia insist that they are the descendants of Houyi, the God of the Arrow, according to Gejia legend). |

Drive 1.5 hours to Old Han (Chinese) village in Anshun County, west of Guiyang. After Anshun, transfer to Huangguoshu Waterfall and Dragon Palace Cave. Then drive back to Guiyang railway station and take the overnight train to Kunming. K337 (638km 20:19/07:45+1) |

Anshun County, the ancestors of these villagers migrated from Jiangsu Province to Guizhou Province in the Ming Dynasty. Women here are still dressed in traditional Ming dynasty costumes, and houses remain faithful to Ming architectural styles. |

Huangguoshu Waterfall, a milky way in miniature, is the largest waterfall in Asia. Seventy-four meters (243 feet) high and eighty-one meters (266 feet) wide, it is a scenic marvel. Do not miss it if you are in Guizhou Province.Known as the Huangguoshu Waterfall National Park, it is 45 kilometers (28 miles) southwest of Anshun city in Guizhou Province. Together with minor waterfalls, the charms of Huangguoshu Waterfall are a natural tourist drawing card. Hospitable ethic groups add the human touch. |

Meet on arrival at Kunming railway station and transfer to hotel, check in. Afternoon sightseeing tour to West Hill. Kunming is the capital of Yunnan Province. It is nicknamed as City of Spring. |

Erhai Lake is the largest highland lake next to Dianchi and one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China. It means, 'sea shaped like an ear', in Chinese. Implying that the lake is ear shaped and as large as a sea, hence it was so named. The lake covers an area of 250 square kilometers and is located about two kilometers east of Dali. It is like a crescent lying between Cangshan and Dali city as seen from Cangshan Mount. In a sunny day, the crystal waters of Erhai Lake and the snow mantled Cangshan Mount radiate with each other. |

Three pagodas, about 1 kilometer (0.6 mile) northwest of the ancient city of Dali, occupying a scenic location at the foot of Mt. Cangshan facing Erhai Lake, has a history of over 1,800 years.
