Embark on a spectacular 340 km drive (approx. 7 hours) toward Everest Base Camp, passing through Lhatse, Shegar, and the breathtaking Pang La Pass (5050 m) — one of Tibet’s highest mountain passes. From here, marvel at panoramic views of the five highest peaks in the world.
Continue onward to Mount Everest Base Camp (5250 m), located at the foot of the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest (8848 m) — revered as “the Third Pole of the Earth.” Experience the awe of standing beneath this majestic peak, a dream destination for adventurers and mountaineers worldwide.

Afterwards, drive back to Shigatse along the same scenic route.

Altitude Preparation is Essential
This is a high-altitude expedition. You will spend days above 3,800m and reach over 5,000m at Everest Base Camp. Acclimatization is critical. Spend 2-3 nights in Lhasa first, hydrate heavily, avoid alcohol, and move slowly. Consult your doctor about altitude sickness medication (like Diamox) before you go.
Permits and Logistics
