Explore the Grand Forbidden City, built by Emperor Yongle in the 15th century, and marvel at its vastness and historical significance. Then, discover Tiananmen Square, the world's largest city square, home to iconic landmarks such as Tiananmen Tower and the Great Hall of the People. Embark on a spectacular 340 km drive (approx. 7 hours) toward Everest Base Camp, passing through Lhatse, Shegar, and the breathtaking Pang La Pass (5050 m) — one of Tibet’s highest mountain passes. From here, marvel at panoramic views of the five highest peaks in the world.
