Day 2: Lhasa Half-Day City Tour (B)
Morning rest for acclimatization.Afternoon visit to Norbulingka Palace (UNESCO World Heritage Site, former summer residence of the Dalai Lama) and Sera Monastery (observe lively Monk Debates at 15:30–17:00, Mon–Sat).

Day 6: Shigatse → Shegar → Everest Base camp (B)

Embark on a spectacular 340 km drive (approx. 7 hours) toward Everest Base Camp, passing through Lhatse, Shegar, and the breathtaking Pang La Pass (5050 m) — one of Tibet’s highest mountain passes. From here, marvel at panoramic views of the five highest peaks in the world.
Continue onward to Mount Everest Base Camp (5250 m), located at the foot of the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest (8848 m) — revered as “the Third Pole of the Earth.” Experience the awe of standing beneath this majestic peak, a dream destination for adventurers and mountaineers worldwide.

Day 7: Everest base camp → gyirong or zhangmu (B)
Hotel breakfast and check out.Drive approximately 230 km (about 6–7 hours) to Gyirong (2,050 m), passing mountain valleys, rivers, and small Tibetan villages, with occasional views of Everest East Slope and surrounding peaks.Overnight in Gyirong.

Day 8: gyirong or zhangmu → kathmandu (B)

Drive to Gyirong or Zhangmu border port.
Cross the China-Nepal border and continue to Kathmandu (6-8 hours)Overnight in Kathmandu.

Hotel breakfast.Explore Kathmandu, visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.Overnight in Kathmandu.

Hotel breakfast and check out.Transfer to Kathmandu airport. Fly from Kathmandu to Paro. Upon arrival, meet and greet, then drive to Thimphu for a short exploration of the city.Overnight in Thimphu.
day 11: thimphu → punakha (B, L)
Hotel breakfast and check out.Drive over Dochula Pass (3140 m) to Punakha, enjoying panoramic views of the Himalayan mountains. Visit Druk Wangyal Lhakhang before heading to Punakha. Explore Chhimi Lhakhang (the Fertility Temple) and Punakha Dzong. In the evening, experience rafting and take in the natural beauty of Punakha.Overnight in Punakha.

Hotel breakfast and check out.Drive to Sangchokor Buddhist College, Bumdra Trek (7 km, 4 hours). During the trek, visit two of Bhutan Buddhist pilgrimage sites, Bumdra Monastery and Tiger's Nest Monastery, enjoying the stunning scenery of the Himalayan Mountains along the wayBUMDRATRE Bumdra Trek Altitude: 2400 – 3800 mts.Overnight in Paro.

Hotel breakfast.Continue trekking 15 km (about 6 hours). The trek will lead to the Zangto Pelri temple perched on a cliff. From there, you can catch a glimpse of the rooftops of Tiger’s Nest Monastery in the distance. After the trek, return to Paro.Overnight in Paro.
day 14: paro → departure (b)

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Trip ends.
